ATTAINING LORD KRISHNA BY DEVOTION AND DESIRELESSNESS

Bhaktirasya bhajnamI
Tadihamutroupadhinairashayanamushminmanah kalpanam I
Tadeiv neishkarmayam II (14)

Bhagwan Shri Krisahan ke prati atut bhakti hi bhajan hei, es lok aur parlok ke sampooran bhogon ki akankshya ka hamesha ke liye parityag kar dena aur indriyon sahit man ko Shri Krishan mein laga dena hi vastvic bhajan ka svaroop hei.Yahi naishkarmya  arthat vastvic sanyas hei.

(Devotion to Lord Krishna is real devotion. Shunning desires for all worldly and heavenly comforts and surrendering senses and mind to Lord Krishna is real form of devotion unto Krishna. This is highest state of freedom from reactions.)
Lord Krishna himself says in verse 49 in chapter 18 of Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta:

Asaktbudhi          sarvatra    jitaatma     vigatsprihah   I

Neshkarmyasidhim     parmam  sanyasenadhigachhti II   (18.49)

He whose mind is subdued, intellect is unattached every where, having no infatuation to sense objects, attains through path of knowledge, inaction.

Wise one being free from attachment in such acts  as lying, sitting, walking, bathing, seeing, touching , hearing, smelling, eating, drinking, breathing, sleeping, answering the call of nature, grasping, closing and opening of eyes, whatever other acts,  does not bind  like others as he is only watching organs experience the sense objects.
The same with even eye to all and free from merits and demerits, one should not praise or blame any body who may say or do something good or bad.

Only taking pleasure in self, a saint attains renunciation and action less ness.

By treading self alone and attaining action less ness he reaches lord.

All these are prescription and preparation for seeking liberation

NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE

Tadesh shaloka:-kaleemitietadadavadaye Krishanaye Govindaye Gopijanvallbhayeti vrihanbhanavya skriiducheireidyoaso gatitasyasti madkshu nanya gati syatiti II (13)

He who recites 'Krisharhaye' 'Govindaye'and ' Gopijanvallbhaye after initial 'Kalin' with 'Swaha', he certainly attains Krishna and he has no other way of salvation.

TheUpnashad itself is about the emancipastion of embodied self souls by meditating on Krishna. The syllable has been explaind and when recited with Swaha in full faith, it leads to Lord Krishna

ATTAINING LORD KRISHNA BY MEDITATION

While meditating on the imagined figure of Lord Krishna surrounded by cowherds and their beutiful consorts and sitting on jewel studded seat under the Kadmb tree following  syllabe is recited by the wise to attin Krishna:

Tasya puna rasanamiti jalbhumiiindusanmapatah
Kamadikrisharhayeitieikam padam I
Govundaeiyati dvitiyamI
Gopijaneiti tritiyam I
Vallabhayati turiyam I
Sawaheti panchamiti II (11)

Panchpadam japanpanchangam davyabhumisuryachandermasou saagni
Tadruptaya Brahanm sampadyate Brahanm sampadyat iti II

After describing spectrum of Lord Krishna for his meditation, Upanishad describes the Syllable to concentrate on the figure in imagination:

Reciting (Ka) for water element (La) for earth element, (ekar, indu) Kalin representing root of   Syllable one should recite ‘Krisharhaye’. This Kalin Krisharhaye is first part of the Syllable. Govindaye is second and Gopijan is third, Vallabhaye is fourth and Swahah is the fifth part of Syllable.
Thus this five dimension Kalin Krisharhaye Govindaye Gopijan Vallabhaye Swahah Syllable is panchpadi Syllable. Being the source of all five elements Earth, Space, Sun, Moon and Fire is the collectively represents all. Devotee meditating on Lord Krishna by reciting Syllable attains Lord Krishna.
